18th TIBETAN TERRIER WORLD CONGRESS
Thirty seven years ago, in 1989, the first congress happened, after years of discussions. Margareta Sundqvist (Sweden) and Marianne Dehlholm Dons (Denmark) organized the first congress in Denmark.
Since then, there has been a congress every second year (with some exceptions). After a five year gap due to covid, the TT World Congress reconvened in France near Paris in 2022.
In 2024, the 17th congress was held in Sweden, August 30-September 1, 2024 and was attended by Kate Stanuch and
Jackie Faust. The congress has taken place in 10 different countries in Europe, and twice in the USA, 2003 and 2011.
