Mr. Ashley Reid
I entered the dog world in 1976. Since 1986 my main focus has been Tibetan Terriers & Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, (all four colors), winning multiple specialty and all breeds Best in Shows and breeding many champions, Grand Champions and Supreme Champions under the "Aryed" prefix.
More recently Pointers have also been at the forefront of my life with my partner breeding and handling many specialty and all breeds Best in Show winners and Supreme Champions.
I also bred Miniature Pinschers under the "Khanrae" prefix. Champions carrying this prefix number in excess of 70 including many All Breed and Specialty Best In Show winners.
I have campaigned several other breeds to Best In Show wins including Pembroke Corgi, (including winning Best in Show at the prestigious Adelaide Royal show), English Pointer, Irish Setter, Affenpinscher, Borzoi, Basset Fauve De Bretagne, Shar Pei, Pekingese, English Toy Terrier, Boxer and Dachshund. Group wins have also been achieved with Pug, Curly Coated Retriever, Afghan, Australian Cattle Dog, OES, English Setter, Miniature American Shepherd, Cairn Terrier, and both English and American Cocker Spaniels. Many other breeds have been campaigned with success.
I started judging in 1994 and have judged in England, (where I award CC’s in multiple breeds), America, Canada, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Switzerland, Estonia, Italy, Germany, Poland, South Africa, New Zealand, Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, The Philippines, South Korea, Indonesia, China & in each state of Australia. I am licensed by Dogs Australia, the AKC and the FCI to judge all breeds, all groups and Best in Show.
I have also judged Junior Showmanship in five countries including two National Finals of Junior Showmanship overseas and state finals in three different states of Australia.

I was born in 1963 and unfortunately grew up without dogs in my parents' house. I am a qualified chemist by profession and have worked in research for many years.
I bought my first dog in 1989, it was a long-haired German shepherd dog. I was very successful in dog sports with this bitch. Soon afterwards I fulfilled my dream with my first Bernese Mountain Dog, we bred this breed until 2000 and our last Bernese Mountain Dog died in 2015. From 1990 to 2000 I was co-owner of a dog school in which all dog breeds were trained, including for the police service.
In 1993 the first Tibetan Terrier Paulinchen moved into our house and the big love for the Tibetan breeds started. In 2002 our first Lhasa Apso litter was born. Today I breed Tibetan Terriers very successfully together with my daughter Katja (also Saluki) under the kennel name "Ti La Shu" & “Tiger Paw” in the VDH / FCI in Germany.
Our young dogs live in many countries around the world. We have bred many international champions, as well as 43 World champions, a large number European champions and champions in more than 32 countries. We are particularly proud of our English Champions and 2 x Crufts BOB and of our American Champions.
Today I live in the small town of Seershausen / Lower Saxony.
I completed my judge training for the Tibetan breeds in 2013 and since then I`m a specialist in the 4 Tibetan breeds Do Khyi, Tibetan Terrier, Tibetan Spaniel and Lhasa Apso, as well as Shih Tzu, Chihuahua, Pug, Maltese, Pekingese, American Akita, Akita and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel at home and abroad.
Since 2023 I’m a group judge for FCI group 9 – toy- and companion dogs.
